Graybrow's Fall

Adventure 1: To Catch A Thief
Wherein our heroes are united for a common cause.

The Goblin’s boot was filled with a number of strange visitors, which was not uncommon for the Port City of Clavensport. There were regulars, such as the drunken adopted son of the mayor, Leon Sporkfire. While Territs Drinkmaker, the goblin bartender, served ale to these strange patrons, each spoke of their story. There was The Mighty Tiggs, a Dwarven Mercenary on the hunt for a thief who was wanted for stealing sensitive materials in Everthorn City. There was Torojiro, the young monk, who had left his monastery to find ways to combat the growing darkness in the border forest, Anna “Duchess” Catslove, who had just popped by for some ale, and, of course, the regular performer at The Goblin’s Boot, Folith. Suddenly, through the window crashed Ethan Slightfingers, the man Tiggs was looking for. The visitors banded together (for the most part) and knocked the thief out cold. They found that he had stolen a dagger from the mayor of Clavensport, Chester Hightower. During the scuffle, Leon, Chester’s son, had been rendered unconscious. Motivated by different reasons (duty, greed, or a lust for adventure), the four took both Ethan and Leon to Chester.
Chester Hightower, an extremely kind soul, rewarded the party with supplies, and gave them instructions to escort Ethan to Everthorn, where he was to stand trial. That night, Folith quit his job at The Goblin’s Boot, and Tiggs attempted to buy a whore (with no luck. Dwarven racism at its worst). The next morning, they set about their journey.

The group was, unfortunately ambushed by several dire rats and a group of goblins. During the scuffle, the goblins were slain, but Ethan managed to escape. The group found a small halfling cleric, Jillian, crucified to a tree. They healed her wounds and she, gratefully, returned the favor. Then it began to hail and storm. Much to The Mighty Tiggs’ dismay, the search for Ethan needed to be called off. The party sought shelter in the basement of a Tower to rest. Unbeknownst to them, they had stumbled into a Goblin’s Tomb.

In the tomb, the group faced horrid monsters, such as a Varguoille, a group of wandering goblins, and a Giant Spider. Torojiro was rendered unconscious, and the rest of the group was fading fast, when a wandering cleric of Pelor, Nell, arrived to seek shelter. She healed the party’s wounds and accompanied them in exploring the rest of the tomb. There, they discovered a zombie bugbear prince, who impaled Jillian on his spear, killing her instantly. The heroes fought this foe bravely, sustaining multiple injuries (the Mighty Tiggs received a scar to the face when he was knocked out). Once the beast was knocked out, the party discovered strange markings on its neck. The storm stopped outside, and Torojiro and Nell took the time to bury their fallen comrade. The party set forth to the next town to Recapture Ethan, as well as investigate this spreading darkness…

Adventure 2: The Cult of Discord
Wherein our heroes face the wicked worshipers of a dark god.
Our heroes followed Ethan‘s trail to a small cottage, owned by a man named Otis. Otis, being kind in nature, had offered Ethan a place to stay. Ethan, being a thief by nature, stole supplies and a horse from Otis. Otis offered the party a place to rest and what little food he had left for the evening, and directed them to Burskinston: Ethan’s most likely location.

Journeying through the forest, the party encountered many strange beasts. Each monster had an insignia burnt into its flesh (the same insignia found on the Zombie Bugbear from the temple). Finally, they arrived in Burskinston, but noticed that everyone seemed to be in a rather dim disposition. Local women had been disappearing from the village. The parents of these girls told the party that their daughter was last seen at work in The Hole, the local tavern.
Upon arriving at The Hole, the party was greeted by Milos, the old bartender. He told the players that Ethan was last seen speaking to a man in a black cloak, a member of a Nomadic religious group of some sort that was passing through. Suspecting the man of foul play, and wishing to find Ethan, the party began to track them outside of town.
After a few encounters with more branded beasts, the party heard chanting. There, they saw a group of hooded men, gathered around 3 different circles, connected like a triangle. In the furthest circle stood a manacled Ethan Slightfingers. Two men guarded each of the prisoners and began approaching them with knives whilst chanting. The party hatched a clever plan: Duchess Catslove would sneak up into a tree and ready her crossbow. Meanwhile, Torojiro and Nell would attack the men with daggers in the circles. Tiggs would run toward the other circle. Folith, hearing the chanting and recognizing it as a dark summoning decided to play a countersong.458407906

The countersong held the summoning at bay, but alerted the guards, who slit the girls’ throats, spilling blood into the circle. A bloody battle ensued, with the cult members still trying to fulfill their ritual, while dealing with the party. Duchess Catslove made short work of their sniper, then went forward to rescue Ethan Slightfingers. As she pushed him out of the circle, the lead cultist began to rise and chant louder. The other noticed the bodies of their fallen foes beginning to glow and ran to join Duchess as quickly as possible. Suddenly, all of the corpses vaporized and the lead cultist delivered a threatening message “Foolish mortals! We are few of many. Our century-long task will be completed soon. Everything is in order, all the plans have aligned. This world of man, light, and order shall fall, and we will bathe in your bubbling blood and feast upon your rotted flesh. Your souls shall power our war machine, as we spread out across the land! KNEEL BEFORE THE CULT OF DISCORD! KNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL!”
He hurled a fireball at Nell and Torojiro, the two purest souls in the party, and was suddenly transformed into a giant spider. The battle was fierce: Torojiro delivered a flurry of blows, while Nell smashed at the beast with her mace. The Mighty Tiggs hacked and slashed at the abomination while Folith tried to pierce its flesh with his rapier. During an attempted backstab, Duchess was wounded by the scorpion’s tail and poisoned. The party finally slayed the beast, cutting all of its limbs off and then beheading it. Nell used her divine powers to cure her fallen ally.
Amongst the tattered remains of the cultists, Folith found a spellbook, written in an unknown scribe. Always possessing an interest in arcane wizardry, which was not common in Pheramat, he took the book with him to study. The party also found a tattered manuscript, which read “Spread from the East, and the Pits of Hell. This world will fall once the light in the wood is extinguished. Praise be to Nerull.”
Though victorious, the price for victory was quite high. Tiggs rendered Ethan unconscious and they dragged him back to Burskinston. None were looking forward to telling the girls’ families the news…

Adventure 3: The Rival Mercenaries
In which our heroes meet their rivals.

The party returned to Burskinston with heavy hearts to break the news to the families that they [[Adventure 2: The Cult of Discord | could not save their daughters]]. The couple claimed that “the Inquisition is right. Magic only leads to darkness and tragedy”. Upon making it back to the tavern, Milos rewarded our heroes for ridding the town of the cultists with free ale and rooms for the night. He also provided The Mighty Tiggs with manacles for his quarry. While Torojirowatched over the unconscious Ethan Slightfingers, Folith studied the spellbook that he had retrieved from the battle. After much time, he was able to at least determine that the language was draconic. Nell and Tiggs went into town to purchase a healing potion. The woman who ran the apothecary, Agatha, persuaded them to buy a potion that could knock anyone out for 24 hours. This would assist in keeping Ethan from escaping. They enlisted Duchess Catslove to barter the price down. They made away with the potion, as well as a few healing vials. Back at the tavern, Tiggs and Duchess grew closer, as she made a dandelion crown for him. They all drank, while the others meditated, studied, and prepared spells.

That night, Folith had a very disturbing dream. He saw flashes of two powerful wizards fighting, where many would die. He also had visions of a staff stuck in a stown, and a city of the dead. He explained this dream to Torojiro, who believed the spell book to have been cursed. He also hypothesized that the vision was that of Graybrow’s fall, over a century earlier!
The four set out towards Everthorn with Ethan in tow. On the way their, however, they were attacked by a giant centipede, again bearing the mark. After a brutal fight, Folith almost fell in battle, but was saved by his friends.
The next day, the party was ambushed in the woods by a group of mercenaries led by General Romulus and Temple Bane. The men were looking to “relieve” Tiggs of his quarry. They brought with them a group of mercenaries of their own: Caden Noteworthy, former thieving partner of Ethan Slightfingers, Kentethelion, a half-orc barbarian, infamous for maiming and eating small children across the Kingdom, and Merki, an elven Sniper. A lengthy battle ensued, and though the party was badly wounded in the fight, they all survived. The only casualty was Kentethelion, whose black heart was ripped out by Torojiro.
After tying up and questioning their rivals, the party found out that Romulus was out to discredit Tiggs, to stir up thoughts of war against the Dwarven Kingdom. Romulus agreed to leave the party alone, as long as they would keep his humiliating defeat a secret. Tiggs acquired a magic compass, enchanted with a tracking spell, from Temple Bane, who used this tool to steal from other mercenaries. The party stole the horses from their foes and rode off, towards everthorn.

Adventure 4: The Bridge
In which our heroes fight an ogre and are kidnapped by unlikely foes...

The party rode forward on horseback for two uneventful days before coming across a bridge. As they were figuring out a way across, they were attacked by 3 goblins, seeking vengeance for the desecration of their [[Adventure 1: To Catch A Thief | Ancestor’s Tomb.]] Our heroes quickly dispatched these foes, and decided to unload the packs on their horses, and attempt to lead them across. In doing so, Duchess Catslove discovered a bag of holding. The party was shocked to discover that the bag was filled with the mutilated bodies of small children. Torojiro Shuusaku, cursing his fallen foe, Kentethelion, vowed to purify this bag before using it any further.
Unfortunately, the smell of the rotting bodies awakened an Ogre that had been sleeping under the bridge. Duchess was gravely wounded, and it was only through sheer luck (and perhaps Divine Intervention) that she survived. In the ensuing battle, Ethan Slightfingers’s horse became spooked. The Mighty Tiggs, refusing to let his quarry get away, shot the last surviving horse. The others managed to kill the monster, and passed the bridge with little trouble.

After traveling further, they came across a small town, marked with the symbol of Pelor. Nell chose to take this opportunity to seek out her fellow clerics. Folith immediately decided to go to a pub to play for money. The others followed him to the local tavern to watch him play.
Meanwhile, Nell explored the city, which seemed to run on steam. She met with Hippolyta, the leader of the New Order of Pelor. There, she learned that this new order has abandoned magic, seeing it as “stealing from the divine”. Nell was then knocked unconscious by an unseen assailant.

As Nell was meeting with the clerics, the patron of the bar served food and drinks to the rest of the party. They talked for a bit, the patrons taking notice of Folith’s magical book, as well as his Arcane Bard Magic. Suddenly, the entire party felt woozy. As they slipped out of consciousness, the last words they heard were “Nobody Expects The Peloran Inquisition!”

Adventure 5: The Tower of Horrors (Part 1)
Wherein our heroes face unprecedented terrors...

The party awoke in a dungeon, guarded by clockwork men. Thanks to the clever lockpicking of Anna “Duchess” Catslove and the brutal lock smashing of The Mighty Tiggs and Torojiro, the party managed to escape. They disarmed the guards, which was no small feat, and engaged them in battle. Ethan Slightfingers decided it was in his best interest to join the party for now. Nell of Everthorn used her magic to create a smoke cloud, seemingly deactivating the guards. The party used this distraction to dismantle their remaining foes. After relocating their armor and weapons, they were approached by another prisoner, Eltar Zolon. Eltar had been a soothsayer, his mystic eyes plucked out by the Inquisition. He told them of a mad man who performed horrific experiments at the top of the tower. He offered to either heal the warriors, or tell them of their future. Those that chose to hear their futures:
Tiggs: Tiggs learned that he would leave the Dwarven kingdom in disgrace, but return a king.
Nell: Nell was warned of disillusionment and corruption of her god, should she fail a great test in her future.
Folith: Folith was told of a magic that has chosen him to become either great or terrible, but ultimately powerful.
Torojiro: Torojiro was warned that his actions, though heroic at the time, would ultimately lead to a bloody tragedy.

The rest chose to be healed. They party also encounter Kindly John, a disturbing prisoner who told them of what they will face upstairs, and how they will be devoured.

As the warriors made their way upstairs, they were forced to battle more clockwork foes, as well as navigate a hallway of traps. While Duchess was searching a suspicious looking carpet, Torojiro, in a rather fool-hardy move, ran right over it. This caused him to fall into a pit of spikes. The rest of the party chose to jump over the pit, however, Torojiro tripped and fell in again. Nell’s healing spells may have been able to heal the wound, but his pride would not be so resilient.
The top floor was filled with gold, covered with rotting corpses. Folith decided to ignore these corpses and pocket the gold, despite the warnings from his fellow travelers. As they made their way through the hallway, they saw various lab tables with failed experiments. A two-headed creature begged for death (which Folith quickly provided). They then proceeded to the lab.

Once in the lab, the party discovered Dr. Quentin Thelonious and his slave, Mona. Thelonious, upon seeing the party, retreated into his giant mechanized armor. He began attacking the party with giant balls of Fire. Folith, attempting to cut off his fuel supply, slashed open a main full of flammable fluids that covered him and Duchess. Nell and Ethan immediately made their way to the main console, where they successfully disabled the machine: unlocking every door in the tower. Thelonious attacked them with fire, and Nell was severely burned. Mona, who had taken a liking to Nell in their brief time together, began to drag her off somewhere safe. As Thelonious lumbered towards the rest of the party, going in for the kill, Torojiro managed to land a stunning hit. The armor began rebooting, buying the party a little bit of time. The remaining four readied themselves for the fight of their lives, as the room became engulfed in flames…

In which a hero falls and hope is scarce...

The battle did not go well for the party. As the fire began consuming the room,Doctor Thelonious slowly regained control of his machine. Nell, who had been horribly scarred by the last attack, was led to a secret back room by Mona. There, she found a wealth of magical items, confiscated by Thelonious. She also noticed that the door was able to be sealed. Using a healing potion, she returned to health, and beckoned her comrades to take shelter in the saferoom.

Outside, the battle continued to rage on. Folith was struck down by the giant machine, instantly knocked out in a crumpled heap on the floor. Ethan Slightfingers attempted to heal him, but only managed to stabilize his condition. In a feat of great bravery, Duchess Catslove scaled the top of the machine and dealt a crucial blow to Thelonious himself. The machine struck Catslove off of its back, damaging itself in the process. The blow was enough to weaken the machine, but rendered Duchess a broken crumpled heap.

Torojiro, who had heard Nell’s plan, told her of the party’s condition. Nell ran from her hiding place and used the last of her spells to heal her friend. Meanwhile, The Mighty Tiggs struck a blow to the mechanical beast that sparked an fountain of flames. The party knew that the room would soon be engulfed in a blazing inferno. Tiggs and Torojiro ran for the saferoom, while Ethan grabbed an unconscious Duchess. Nell was faced with a horrible choice: Save her fallen friend, Folith, or save herself. Fearing that neither would survive if she saved him, she made her way back to the saferoom. Folith’s body, clothing, and all of his belongings were consumed by the flames.

In the magical storage room, the party was able to restock on healing potions, as well as recover their magical belongings. They were able to restore all of Nell’s spells for the day, and heal themselves. Amongst the items, was a vial, able to quell the flames outside. Once they froze over the laboratory, they searched the remains of the battle. They found Thelonious’s charred body, forever in his machine. They also paid their respects to Folith’s ashes.

The party made their way down the hallway, making sure to avoid traps. They were horrified when they found the dungeon they had been imprisoned in moments earlier was covered in blood. Eltar’s body lie in a pile of gore, his face removed. The party followed an eerie giggling to the cell of Kindly John. Kindly John, wearing Eltar’s face, proceeded to taunt the group, claiming to serve a being known only as “The Duck of Secrets”. He tried to confuse the group with a riddle, but was met with an arrow to the hand from Tiggs. The arrow shattered the Duck’s hold over kindly John, and the two dispersed into the ether.

The group travelled downstairs, where they were met with a zombie attack. The party readied themselves for battle once more, wondering if they should join the unruly prisoners and Barbaric Orc, smashing his way through the zombies…

In which luck just barely overcomes stupidity...

The party looked at the battle in front of them and decided that they would not be receiving any rest in this room. Torojiro Shuusaku Attempted to strike an alliance with the Orc Barbarian, Kresh Worldstomper. Unfortunately, it took more than a bit of diplomacy to keep Kresh from taking a strike at The Mighty Tiggs. Duchess Catslove Made her way to a prison cell, where she saw a little girl about to be fed to a beastly werewolf. She attempted to talk her way out of this situation, but was met with snarls and claws. Torojiro, hearing the girls cries, leapt into the room, leaving Tiggs and Kresh to sort out their own differences. Duchess, seeking to aid her friends against the undead, was attacked by one of the ghoulish corpses, and fell unconscious.

Meanwhile, Nell of Everthorn, much to the dismay of Mona, attempted to help a young man who was fighting off a large mob of zombies with a table leg. Unfortunately, Nell and Anders were overcome by the zombies, and the young man was eaten. The rest of the party, too busy protecting Duchess, was unable to help Nell.

Kresh and Torojiro slaughtered the werewolf and saved the little girl. Unfortunately, the stress caused her to change into a Wererat and bite Torojiro. The wererat was knocked unconscious and reverted to a little girl. Torojiro took the little girl with him, bound so she could not attack.

The heroes returned and were able to wipe out the rest of the zombies. When they moved into the next room, they saw two large creatures, an ogre and a troll, filleting humanoids and throwing their bodies and skeletons into large piles. The party knew that their only chance would be to sneak around these two behemoths. Unfortunately, nobody told Kresh. Kresh approached the two beasts and said, quite loudly, “Hey, you big squishies. You got any shinies?”
facepalm.jpg

He was immediately smashed down by the two beasts and forced to run. The party lured the monsters into the dungeon hallway and pelted them with Alchemist’s fire.

Fleeing the inferno, the party attempted to go out the front door, but were warned by Mona that the tower was surrounded by living trees with a lust for human flesh. Seeing no other alternative, they took to the basement in search of the sewer drain. In the dark, dingy sewers, there was a large crack in the ground. From this crack sprung several Wights.

The party was overrun with Wights! It took the very last bit of their strength to fend them off. During this fight, Mona exposed herself as a succubus. Out of shame, she ran into the fires away from Nell. Her fate is unknown.
Once the wights were defeated, the party jumped down sewage drain and crawled through human waste. When they came out, they were greeted by a guard.
“What business have you in Everthorn City?”

They Had Arrived.

In which the party completes one quest and embarks on another...

The guards met the party with a bit of suspicion, though they became quite compliant after seeing Ethan Slightfingers in the party’s custody. They agreed to escort the Adventurers back to the king so The Mighty Tiggs could collect his payment. Unfortunately, Kresh Worldstomper was held in custody on the grounds of being an orc. King Thristel paid the adventurers for their services and allowed Kresh to be released into the custody of Torojiro Shuusaku. While Torojiro, Kresh, and Nell went to visit the Peloran Temple, Tiggs met with his fellow mercenaries, Nelis and Joban, at The Slag.
Nelis and Joban collected the guild’s cut of the pay and applauded his efforts. They then let Tiggs know about a whispered rumor of an underground group of mages who, tired of being oppressed in the anti-magic land, were planning something drastic. Tiggs was charged to gather information to decide which side the Dwarves should take. This had to be handled delicately to prevent an all-out war.
At the Temple, Nell met up with her old friend Cinder, the priestess, who took the WereRat child out of Torojiro’s custody and promised to care for her. She took them to the Eldest cleric, who was having a heated debate with the young Paladin, Markis. Markis was trying to find some of the missing clerics (the only magic users legally allowed were clerics of Pelor and Paladins. Arcane magic users were hunted and imprisoned, and any magic items are held by the king). Markis left shortly after. The elder told Torojiro where he could find help: the underground mages. He just didn’t know where they were.
Duchess Catslove went about town to purchase new clothing and take care of her own business. She did not wish to discuss this with anyone else.
The party met at The Feathered Quill and discussed their predicament. Duchess and Tiggs went back to the slag to see if they could find any information. Duchess found some in the form of the halfling drug dealer, Constantine Rofan. Constantine duped Duchess into smoking some devilweed and did not give her any useful information. He also attempted to drug Tiggs, but failed. Tiggs took Constantine outside and roughed him up a bit. This proved quite useful: Constantine receives the materials for his drugs from the mages. He told Tiggs to look under the steps of the library at Sundown the next day. Tiggs collected Duchess and went back to the Inn.

The next evening, the party went to the library. They found a secret tunnel underneath the library. Unfortunately, Constantine had warned the mages, and they sent a few halfling rogues and a sorcerer. Tiggs turned the halflings into Quarterlings, while Nell and Duchess knocked out the sorcerer. Kresh and Torojiro had, unfortunately, been paralyzed by the mage. The party then heard a magical alarm go off. Their presence had not gone unnoticed…

In which the party fights magic with incompetence...

The party headed forward into the tunnel. There, they found a small resistance, ready to fight them to the death. There was an elder wizard, an elven ranger, a few halfling archers, and a clumsy mage. While the others tried to reason with the group, Tiggs and Kresh made things a bit more difficult by fighting (and killing) a few of the archers. As the battle escalated, the clumsy mage read one of the many scrolls on the shelf. A brief peace was initiated, due to the threatening presence of Kresh. While peace talks were being made, however, a creature was being summoned at the center of the room. The party joined forces with the resistance to partake in a lengthy battle against a Displacer beast. Though the fight took quite some time, but the party managed to annihilate the beast. The entire battle was recorded by Cluster, the mage who had caused the problem initially. Though his skills in magic were virtually nonexistent, he did inspire the party with tales of great deeds. The battle was lengthy but with a series of Axe Hacking, Head Punching, Rapier Jabbing, and Mace Bashing, the creature was reduced to a few twitching bits of meat.
Torojiro, Kresh, and Nell were sent to the Abbey, where Torojiro was cured of his lycanthrope. Tiggs and Duchess met with the leader of the resistance. While they remained sympathetic to the cause, and did find out that they planned on doing something during the trial to release their imprisoned brethren, they neither committed nor inquired as to what the plans were. When the rest of the party returned, they took the same stance. They went back to The Feathered Quill, while Tiggs went to give information to his fellow mercenaries. Nelis advised that he not reveal this information to the king, but to keep a keen eye out. Their loyalties, as of yet, are undefined.

Adventure 7: The Trial of Ethan Slightfingers
In which the beans are spilled...

The party woke up early the next morning to discuss their plans. During this discussion, Duchess Catslove revealed that she had not met with the adventurers randomly: she accompanied them to ensure the safety of her brother, Ethan Slightfingers. The Mighty Tiggs flipped a table. Everyone was shocked.
Under Nell’s truth spell, Duchess revealed that she lives in the center of the border forest in a small wooded village called Haven. The horrible monsters in the forest do not attack the villagers, as Haven is protected by the Great Wizard, Graybrow. Duchess explained further that Graybrow was not the villain that the history books make him out to be. In fact, the hero of the story, Zaruth, was the monster. Graybrow used his most powerful magics to stop his evil apprentice from destroying the world. At this cost, Graybrow was greatly weakened and the East was sealed off. HIstory remembers Zaruth as the victor, who died to save the world from magic. The weakened Graybrow had been tending to those whose homes had been taken over by the Border Forest for the past century.
Now that horrible monsters and dark forces seemed to be returning to the land, Graybrow sent Duchess and Ethan on a secret mission. Ethan was sent to investigate a connection between King Thristel and the East, while Duchess was sent to gather a small team of warriors to invade the East.
Tiggs flipped another table.

At the trial, the party did their best to get Ethan out of an execution, but he was sentenced anyway. However, the trial was interrupted by a loud explosion. In the confusion, Ethan stole Duchess’s Ring of Teleportation, took the King’s Daughter hostage, and disappeared. The party members accompanied the Paladin Markis to find that the bridge to the Courtroom was gone and smoke was coming from the city. Torojirio leapt across the Chasm, then pulled his companions across in the Bag of Holding. Once they arrived in the city, they found many starving, crazed Orcs and Ogres that had broken out of the Everthorn Prison. They also saw many Wizards fighting local Paladins as well as the Orcs. It was a mess.
Though Kresh Worldstomper tried to reason with the orcs, they weren’t having any of it. Neither were the Paladins, who insisted the magical heretics be executed for freeing these beasts. A great battle ensued. In the aftermath the Party realized that they had been seen aiding the mages by Markis. Nell promptly used a sleep spell on him.
The Wizards explained that they were trying to liberate their imprisoned comrades, as well as recover various artifacts. Unfortunately, their information was flawed, and they set free many of the monsters imprisoned in the dungeon. They did show the party the opening to a dungeon where the magical artifacts were kept, explaining that there were a few items down below that would help them escape the city. As they prepared to enter, however, they were attacked by a 5-headed Hydra. Many of the mages were killed in this battle, and the party sustained great injuries, but the monster was slain thanks to the party’s amazing battle tactics and combat prowess.
Once the Hydra was defeated, the brave adventurers ventured into the deep dark dungeon to escape the rapidly approaching Paladins. The wizards, with the exception of Clusterfuck decided to stay and buy the party some time. As the Paladins approached, the Wizards wondered if the dungeon they had sent our heroes was more perilous than the army they were about to face…
